A Sad Goodbye!

On August 18, 2013 we said goodbye to some of our dearest friends the Heinz family. This was a most difficult thing to do as we have come to love them very much over the last three years. Here are some pictures of just a few of the many memories that we made together during those wonderful three years!

I had to laugh at these pictures of our moms and then us. It looks like us in the future! Haha!!!!

Our last New Year's Eve together!

Our trip to Astoria and Seaside Oregon.

Our tenth anniversary at Westside.

Aren't they so ADORABLE!!!

I love watching these two together! They are two big personalities!

Not big on getting his picture taken!

Erich and Iron Will! Kisses to you both!

The Best of Friends! I love you Camille!!!!

We  don't always understand why God allows different things to happen, like having good friends move, but I do know that I can trust the God who does know! May He use you mightily in this new phase of your life! I know that you will touch many new lives with your hospitable spirit and joyful home!
I love and miss you all!!!

  1. My heart hurts for you! I can't imagine having such close friends move away. They were a very special family!

That's very true about the picture of the moms being you all in the future. :-)

    I love you!

  2. Naomi,

Your post is so sweet, it makes me realize just how close your families were. Thank you for sharing your memories.

  3. Such sweet pictures. I know your heart aches. I pray God will comfort you all, I know it is difficult. You guys are a wonderful family and I know they will miss you terribly also.

  4. Ditto, ditto, ditto to everything you've said. I miss them so much too! Thank you for sharing this post and the beautiful (and I guess I should say handsome also) photos. God truly blessed us greatly by sending them here... friends to treasure forever. Three years was too short. We are planning a weekly talk/ Skype time once they get settled. They suggested via computer so we can "see" each other. I can't wait! Big Hugs to you today, Naomi... I know you are missing them much. Love you, Mrs. Potvin

  5. Wow...such beautiful pictures! Yes, the Heinz family is well missed! As they left I realized how much I wished I had gotten to know them better-they are such a sweet family and I am grateful for the memories that we did make together :)

  6. Naomi just wanted to say that I'm praying for you and I know it's hard win good friends move away,
my favorite photos are 12/23 but I like all of your photos

    You friend
