Accoutrements (uh-KOO-truh-monts) noun
accessories or pieces of equipment, like that of a soldier's uniform; the stuff that makes something what it is (also known as "characteristics"). If that nursery rhyme is to be believed, then snips, snails, and puppy dog tails are the accoutrements of little boys.

I love the way you connect the dots and make your applications for your newly discovered vocabulary. LOL!! Miss you all so much! Hugs, Mrs. Potvin
ReplyDeleteWow a Dave Harper word! He uses this often in our Wednesday night class and the funny looks he receives. I tease him that this word is not used in every day life. Now I will have to let him know that Naomi understands his vocabulary. Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow. We have missed you all! We are so glad you had this time away!
ReplyDeleteLove Mrs. Harper
