Accoutrements (uh-KOO-truh-monts) noun
accessories or pieces of equipment, like that of a soldier's uniform; the stuff that makes something what it is (also known as "characteristics"). If that nursery rhyme is to be believed, then snips, snails, and puppy dog tails are the accoutrements of little boys.

  1. miss you all! hope you guys are enjoying your vacation!!! =D

  2. I miss you too! We are having a wonderful time!

  3. Wow, I've never heard this one before. This has widened my vocabulary...momentarily. 'Cause I probably won't remember it after a few minutes! :-)

    Love and miss you lots!

  4. I love the way you connect the dots and make your applications for your newly discovered vocabulary. LOL!! Miss you all so much! Hugs, Mrs. Potvin

  5. Wow a Dave Harper word! He uses this often in our Wednesday night class and the funny looks he receives. I tease him that this word is not used in every day life. Now I will have to let him know that Naomi understands his vocabulary. Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow. We have missed you all! We are so glad you had this time away!
    Love Mrs. Harper
